The City of Ballarat continues to review and monitor its plans to respond to the impacts of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) and to ensure it is prepared for any eventuality.

The Department of Health and Community Services remains the lead agency, and the City will be guided by its advice at all times.

Residents are encouraged to access the department’s website at https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/victorian-public-coronavirus-disease-covid-19 for daily updates on Covid-19,  as well as information and resources that can be used at home and around work places, listing  good hygiene habits to reduce the risk of contracting Coronavirus.

A video message from the Chief Health Officer is also helpful in addressing the facts around the outbreak.
